TIMELESS CLASSIC BEATLES ANIMATIONJan 27, 2010
I am a major Beatles fan, and so when my 6 year old daughter showed an interest in their music, I did not expect her to become a big Beatles fan herself. She loves YELLOW SUBMARINE! This movie came out in the late '60's but animation techniques were far ahead of their time, something that today's kids would have no problem enjoying. And the storyline and characters are very edgy, again, making it contemporary. The music is excellent Beatles songs, mostly from Sgt. Pepper and Revolver. The songs are like little animated videos, and work as standalone pieces as well as part of the story. I highly recommend you purchase this movie. We have seen it no less than 20 times in the past few months...it never gets old...lots of animation details and mixed media. 5 Stars!
