This product arrived quickly and in good condition. There is a cardboard backing with a white sheet in front of it behind the black 27x40 sheet in the front. The trim is that super cheap plastic piping that you just peel off. The whole thing is kind of cheap but would be very hard to shatter. If anything is going to break it's going to be either the cardboard back or the cheap plastic trim on the sides. The plastic has a thin plastic sheet stuck on it when it arrives to prevent scratches. Overall, this does exactly what I want it to and I'm pleased with the purchase.

The other reviewer said this was painless to hang up.... For me not so true. Nothing will catch the clasp, no nail, no thumbtack, no nothing!!! Its actually not even up yet, because I've had so much trouble.. The frame is completely flimsy as well. I guess I should have expected this much frustration due to the cheap price I paid..

This poster frame, being the cheapest that I could find, is definitely a great deal. The only drawback i could find was that the frame is flexible, some might say flimsy, against my expectations of a rigid structure, and this wouldn't be such an issue if the frame didn't have a tendency to bend slightly. When I got it, the frame was slightly bent inward, which was annoying but easily remedied by putting some heavy books on it. But again, these are very minor complaints, as it still looks very good without close inspection. It is painless to hang up and with such a slim figure, it is almost unnoticeable against my particular poster's dark background. I will no doubt be buying more of these as they are cheap and good enough to hang in my room. Also, damn fast shipping.
